The love of stainless steel jewelry...

It all started when I started paying attention to my outfits for school. I always wanted to have an accessory to brighten up my outfit because for me it changes everything. A simple outfit can become chic and elegant just by adding jewelry.

However, not having at the time a diverse and varied collection of jewelry, I had to manage with my gold jewelry that I never removed under any circumstances. This caused me several inconveniences, including losses (when swimming in the sea, events, etc.), which pushed me to turn to less expensive jewelry.

For years I went to specialty accessory stores. However, I had many reactions issues such as redness sometimes going as far as bleeding from the earlobes. I was sensitive to the material used in the manufacture of jewelry. In addition to that, since I am not a person who removes her jewelry to wash her hands or shower, the jewelry had a virtually non-existent lifespan. Which means that they all ended up in the trash quickly.

So I started saving up so I could afford to buy better quality jewelry. It turned out that even the jewelry I bought for more money thinking it would be more durable and not change color...still did.

I then wondered if I was condemned to buy gold or silver jewelry to be sure to be able to wear them every day without problems. While knowing that these are not affordable jewelry. Unable to regularly spend more than €80 on jewelry, I turned again to lower quality jewelry, telling myself that I would be careful, remove them before coming into contact with water, etc. except that I always forgot!

A few years ago I heard about stainless steel jewelry being sold as water resistant and therefore lasting longer. I turned to gold plated steel jewelry which initially scared me in the sense that I was afraid that the jewelry would react like the cheaper ones later on. Forced to note that this was not the case, the jewelry I bought 8 years ago is still present in my jewelry box!

Today my wish is to allow people like me, subject to reactions to lower quality jewelry, who do not think to remove their jewelry, who sometimes lose their jewelry, etc. I decided to launch my own brand of waterproof and hypoallergenic stainless steel and sterling silver jewelry. I can no longer be afraid of putting my jewelry in contact with water, being afraid that it will rust or change color, or of wearing my earrings which do not cause me any reactions. Moreover, if I lose them, it will hurt me less than losing my gold jewelry like when I was younger.
